It is important to photograph people in settings where they feel relaxed and comfortable. Whether your goal is to create headshots for agents or to create a treasure to hang on your wall, the best results always start with the setting. When you call to book your appointment, we will discuss what works best for you.
I offer photo sessions in both individual and group settings. Individual sessions work best if you want to choose your own location, i.e. your backyard. They are also ideal for large families where there are a lot of people to coordinate. Group sessions are an ideal cost savings alternative since the session fee is reduced. For instance, consider having a few friends over for a playdate and getting pictures taken during the course of natural play. Not only are the kids and parents less stressed, but everyone has more fun with the experience and the pictures show it!
Please see my pricing section for more information on these options.
What to Wear/ What Not to Wear:
When deciding what to wear or how to dress your family, remember that less is more. Keep it simple. Try to avoid loud patterns or logos as they take away from the subject. If the pictures are going to be outdoors, any color looks great. If we are using a black backdrop, darker colors look best (black, navy, burgandy, etc.). All photographs are available in color or black and white, so dark colors will be a sure bet either way. If we are taking group pictures, i.e. siblings, make sure the outfits coordinate, but don't necessarily match them. The idea is for everyone to be themselves and look like themselves, so let their individuality be expressed.
Cancellation Policy:
I understand that things happen that sometimes are beyond our control. I will try very hard to work with you in the event you are unable to keep your original session date. Please accept my apologies in advance because I cannot offer refunds on deposits. However, I will be happy to apply your deposit to a future session date.

A. I accept cash or checks and on orders of $150 or more I do accept credit cards (Visa, MC, Discover..). You will receive an invoice with a pay pal link.
Q. Are you willing to travel to other locations for a photo shoot?
A. Sure I am … depending on the distance. There will be a minimum $25.00 travel charge.

A. A minimal $25.00 to secure your shoot date on the calendar. A minimum of P of your print order total is due before your order will be placed.
Q. How long do I have to pay the remaining balance after my deposit?

Q. Can I choose special editing features for my final photos.
A. You can request a photo be changed in color. I do offer digital retouching of photographs to remove sweat, glare, wrinkles and so on for an additional fee.

A. Certainly. Just as long as there aren’t any contractual obligations with the other photographer.
Q. How long will it take for us to see our proofs?
A. I do my absolute best to have them available within two to three weeks of your session date…editing is an extremely tedious and time-consuming process. Your patience is greatly appreciated!

Q. What kind of editing is included in my photo package?
A. I normally include several different exposures and creative images along with your traditional color proofs. If you have specific photos that you like and you want to change the color or exposure, I am happy to fulfill any specific request that you may have...within reason.
Q. Do all the prints in my package have to be of the same image?
A. Absolutely not! You are welcome to choose multiple pose for your package.
Q. Can I include photo collages as part of my package?
A. Absolutely! I try to include at least one collage in each proof gallery. Your print credit is yours to spend how you see fit!
Q. For your children and family sessions is there an additional charge for large groups?
A. Yes, it takes more time to coordinate a larger group. Your family and group package prices include the standard $50 session fee, this covers the first 5 people in your group. There is a $10 charge per person after that. I do not limit the number of people in your group.
Q. Are you going to put a watermark on my photos?
A. Not on your printed images or your proof cd. My images are however copy write protected and in your gallery will be right click protected. But people are always free to order any photos that they would like from the web-site. I really keep my prices quite reasonable.
